Volunteers are usually the ones that have the most direct contact with athletes for most of the time. They are also the ones that leave athletes with some of the most gratifying feelings and experiences during the race that would take place without them. Volunteers are the face of the event!
Assist the staff with registration area set up and kits preparation. Athletes registration.
Assist the staff in simple structures set up and preparation of race areas.
Provide information about the race to athletes, public, staff and volunteers. Lost and found.
Delivery of medals, finisher t-shirt, drinks and food, support in recovery zone.
Support aid stations delivering and preparing hydration and food for athletes, help with passages for people and athletes to be safe.
Help redistribute volunteers to where needed, make sure all volunteers have their own hydration and food, coordinate all info that needs to be sent to the race safety officer (in case of an accident or other).
Video and photo coverage of the event is well appreciated but you must show credentials of the ability to perform the tasks and a track record. Your work will get credit for wherever displayed.
